Who we are
Chester Property Reset is a small, owner-operated property cleaning service based in Chester. This page explains what happens to the information you send us through the quote form on this website.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the postcode and details of the property: the service you want, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and your preferred date
- any notes you choose to add
- any photos of the property you choose to add. Photos are optional.
Please avoid including people, documents or personal belongings that show personal details in your photos. Before a photo is sent, your browser re-saves a smaller copy of it. This usually leaves out details such as the camera information and location stored in the original file, but we cannot promise that it always will.
Why we use it
We use this information to review the job, reply to you with a quote or any questions, and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for unrelated marketing.
How a quote request is processed
- Your form and any photos are sent to our server on Cloudflare, which checks them.
- The details and photos are sent on as an email to us, attached to the message, using Resend.
- Our website does not save your photos in storage of its own. They are handled only to process your request.
- We reply to you by email or phone.
Services that handle your data
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes requests to it, including your form submission.
- Resend is the email service that delivers the enquiry, with its photos, to us.
The email then sits in our own email account like any other message. These providers may process data outside the UK, and may keep their own records of messages and requests as described in their own privacy information.
You can also message us on WhatsApp. If you do, your message, phone number and anything you send are handled by WhatsApp, which is run by Meta, under its own terms and privacy information. We use what you send to reply to you and to prepare a quote.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers at the moment. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
How long we keep it
We keep quote request emails, including any photos attached to them, only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any booking that follows, and for ordinary business record keeping. We delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
